Getting Started with Oracle’s JDeveloper
Oracle’s team of Interaction Designers within the Tools User Experience group relies on JDeveloper to design and develop web applications for its customers. Since our background is not in coding or software development, we need a tool that is easy to use and has has a nice Visual Editor for us to layout UI components for an application. Oracle’s JDeveloper does the trick nicely.

Getting Started
To get more familiar with the tool, we all ran through a two hour tutorial on our laptops. This tutorial takes you through a simple scenario of building a rich internet application that provides a user interface to access database tables.
You can get started in 2 easy steps:
1. Download Oracle JDeveloper 11g Version 11.1.1.2.0
