In a LinkedIn discussion, Kevin Smith has posed a challenge; to describe EA in a short, concise “elevator pitch.”  A great exercise with some good responses.

Describe the purpose of EA in one 160 character SMS message (including spaces, punctuation and carriage returns)?

My description would be: EA is the people and processes which support the mapping of strategic business direction to the IT underpinnings which enable the fastest (yet most sustainable) realization of those goals.
