Webcam Motion Detection with VB6

The main function of this program is capture snapshot of a picture from webcam when a motion detect at front of camera. The program work based on image pixel differentiate . the program using a timer for take a picture from camera and store a picture at clipboard for a time to a process differentiate.  The picture result of screen shot will be stored at hardisk with jpeg format for better size. the size of picture depend of video format on webcam. for example if we used video format 640 x480, the jpeg file can be around of 50 kb and i think is more save hardisk space than using .bmp Format.  The program using VB .60 and active-x ijl11.dll/Intel Jpeg Library for convert picture from Bmp into Jpeg format.  i put this active-x into source code download link in the end of this post. the routine code of  differentiate picture , i found from PSC , i think the simple code with good performance.  Continue reading…

WebConfero Open Source Groupware Solution ( PHP )

WebConfero is an internet-based open source groupware solution that allows users to communicate and share information. The system consists of a basic framework and modules to add to this. The system is based on rooms, where the information is stored. A user has to be member of a room to get access to the files, upload files, or to access the forum for a particular room. The system has a easy to use administrator area where users, rooms, permissions and modules easily can be added, edited or deleted. You may expand the system by adding modules to it. These modules are for instance Blog, message system, calendar, reservations, bugtracker and help. Modules can be downloaded from the WebConfero website, where you also can find themes for the system. These modules are added through the administrator area, and the administrators can decide which modules every user has access to. After you have extracted the contents of the zip file, run the file called installme.php to install the system. Installme.php can be found on the root.
